What is Robloxopolis, and why do we have it's domain?

Well, to answer the first question, let's go back in time to 2006, November 2006. Robloxopolis was an attempt to bring a bunch of Robloxians together to build a huge city. https://archive.froast.io/forum/8050
There were plots of land that people could claim and make their builds on. Unfortunately, it appears it was just never completed. The last blog update was on March 20th 2007. https://web.archive.org/web/20071008141735/http://shedletsky.com/roblox/robloxopolis/

Now for the second question, "why the heck do you own this domain?". Clients have things called trusted urls, these urls are hardcoded into the roblox exe, and roblox will accept requests from them and load from them without issue. For some reason, early-mid 2007 builds (and presumably some 2006 builds) have this url (robloxopolis.com) hardcoded into the exe. Me and Modnark were just looking at domains one day, and we were wondering if robloxopolis.com was for sale, and it was! So, that is why we own this domain, because it was a trusted roblox domain and it was for sale.
